Merriweather Moss

Merriweather Moss keeps the little bakery near Pebblemere’s market square, where the smell of fresh bread and honey buns drifts out onto the lane before the sun has properly risen. A soft-hearted rabbit with flour on her sleeves more often than not, she begins each morning long before the rest of the village wakes, humming quietly to herself while kneading dough beside the warm oven. Though Merriweather is gentle and easy-going, she has a habit of dozing off in the cosiest corners imaginable, especially after a busy baking day. The villagers are quite used to finding her curled up near the kitchen fire with a half-finished recipe in her lap, while trays of cooling cakes sit waiting by the window sill.
